Song for Wrexham Project

Year 7 students took part in a work shop with the beatboxer, Song for Wrexham competition. Students produced lyrics for a rap about the school and the community.

Students will be taking part in a series of workshops in the next few weeks and will be creating more lyrics and will perform and record their compositions.

If their song is successful in the Song for Wrexham competition the school could win £1,000 worth of music activities or tuition.

The winning song will be professionally recorded and performed by the school at the Wrexham Co-operative Summer Gala Concert, held at the William Aston Hall in July.

ll students involved had a fantastic afternoon, and enjoyed the session.
