Students from Year 7 in Ysgol Rhiwabon, in collaboration with Wrexham Music Co -Operative, have been involved in numerous workshops and have created lyrics for a rap song. This was entered into the competition ‘Song for Wrexham’.
The students successfully performed the song on Monday July 15th at Theatre Stiwt in Rhosllanerchrugog, and had the honour of winning the competition
Mrs Sandra Tarver, Curriculum Leader – Music at Ysgol Rhiwabon said,
‘This is a huge achievement! Many congratulations to our students as they performed magnificently during the competition and on the evening.’
