Prom 22

The Ysgol Rhiwabon Year 11 Personal Profile Ceremony was held on June 22nd with the prom following the ceremony at the The Maes Gwyn Hall, Wrexham.

The Personal Profile ceremony was hosted by Mrs Nicola Davies, Lead Leaner for Year 11, with the Profiles presented by Mr Dafydd Ifans, Wrexham Education Officer, and Headteacher, Mrs Melanie Ferron-Evans.

On a dry and warm evening, the Year 11 students met at the school, with just over 250 parents and family members waiting to greet them where they had plenty of time for photographs on the immaculate school grounds

A message to Year 11 was sent in by former student Neco Williams, who was on a well-deserved holiday after his fantastic displays with the Welsh football team. His message and support for all the students was played to the audience, which received a rapturous round of applause.

There were some marvellous vehicles on show bringing students to the ceremony, from a range of supercars, vintage cars, and even a horse!

Mrs Melanie Ferron Evans, Headteacher said,

‘’It is a privilege to see our Year 11 students at the Prom and recognise the journey that they have been on with Ysgol Rhiwabon. The Governors and staff wish them well as they venture into the wider world, and the school sends their best wishes to all of them for the future. We are very proud of each and every one of them’’.

The students then travelled to the Maes Gwyn Hall in Wrexham for their Prom. Party, which was a great success.
