GCSE Examination Results 2021

Ysgol Rhiwabon Governors and staff want to congratulate Key Stage 4 students on an excellent set of results this year. The Class of 2021 have studied through a challenging phase of history, in the shadow of a pandemic. Despite this, Year 11 students have shone, rising to the challenge of completing academic studies in the strangest of times. There have been some amazing individual achievements and a collective success, the school and local community can be proud of.

Mrs Ferron-Evans commented:

“As Headteacher, I could not have asked for a better Year group. The students have worked with staff in such a positive, enthusiastic way reminding us of the true value of the Ysgol Rhiwabon motto, “Nothing without Labour”.

“Centre Determined Grades have replaced the usual external examination model. This has proved to be an apt name; students have been determined to succeed and all staff have worked tirelessly to secure that success. I would like to pay a particular tribute to all school staff and to our families who have worked in partnership to ensure that we have so much to celebrate this year.

“As our Year group prepares for the next stage of education or the world of work, all the staff and Governors of Ysgol Rhiwabon wish every student continued success and happiness. We hope they find time to visit us in the future so we can continue to celebrate their achievements.”
