Y sesiwn Cyflwynir y sesiwn hon o safbwynt addysgu a rhianta, i adlewyrchu pwysigrwydd cydlynu cefnogaeth rhwng yr ysgol a’r cartref. Mae’r testunau a drafodir yn ystod y sesiwn yn cynnwys:
Y cyflwynwyr Mae Catrina Lowri yn niwrowahanol, gyda diagnosis deuol o ddyslecsia ac anhwylder deubegynol a nodweddion ADHD, dyspracsia ac Anhwylder Prosesu Clywedol. Mae hi’n athrawes anghenion arbennig gymwys, yn Gydlynydd AAA ac yn athrawes ymgynghorol brofiadol. Sefydlodd Catrina Neuroteachers i helpu lleoliadau addysg i weithio gyda’u dysgwyr niwrowahanol i ganfod datrysiadau syml ar gyfer arferion cynhwysol ar gyfer y dysgwyr hyn. Mae tîm Neuroteachers yn gwneud hyn trwy hyfforddiant, mentora a newid diwylliant mewn meithrinfeydd, ysgolion a cholegau. About the Session This session will be delivered from both a teaching and a parenting perspective, to reflect the importance of co-producing support between school and home. Topics covered in the session will include:
About The Presenters Catrina Lowri is neurodivergent, having the dual diagnosis of dyslexia and bipolar disorder and traits of ADHD, dyspraxia and Auditory Processing Disorder. She is a qualified special needs teacher and an experienced SENCO and advisory teacher. Catrina founded Neuroteachers to help educational settings work with their neurodivergent learners to find simple solutions for neuro -inclusive practice. The Neuroteachers team do this through training, mentoring, coaching and culture change in nurseries, schools, and colleges. Lucy Johnson – “I am a parent carer to two autistic children, both likely have ADHD, and my youngest is extremely demand avoidant – I believe with PDA.
