Developing Teaching through PLUS ONE
Over the past four Professional Development sessions, the teaching staff have had the fantastic opportunity to work with coach Mark Burns, focusing on teaching and learning strategies and enhancing classroom practice through the PLUS ONE approach.
Mark has collaborated with us in the past, so it was a real pleasure to welcome him back and continue building on the great work we have done together.
Mark Burns, is an Award winning author, speaker and professional learning designer/facilitator with schools, Co-author of 4 books and the LPI Gold Award 2021.
Over the last seventeen years, Mark Burns has developed a proven track record in improving teaching and leadership in education. He’s co-authored two best-selling books in this field.
More recently, he has worked with FTSE100 retailer and third sector organisations, to develop the quality and impact of their learning and development programmes.
Through his work, he has developed a deep understanding of learning design and how to overcome the barriers to learning in organisations.
Mrs. Ferron-Evans, Headteacher said,
