We are delighted to say that we are currently casting households for an exciting new show for primetime Channel 4. The chosen households will get to take part together in an array of creative and head-scratching tasks from the comfort of their own homes – with the chance to have a great time and win a cash prize. The tasks will be set by Alex Horne of Taskmaster fame.

Filming will take place in the October 2026 half-term, and we will need to apply for a licence for the children’s participation via the LEA. Licensed chaperones will be engaged for the filming dates.

We are confident that this will be a really enjoyable experience for any children that are selected to take part, and we will make sure you are kept informed of the broadcast dates in 2027. We would also like to reassure you that Avalon Television takes its duty of care when filming with children very seriously and that robust safeguarding protocols are in place. All crew, production team and on-screen talent in direct contact with the children will have completed an Enhanced DBS check. In addition, licensed chaperones will be present throughout filming. Their sole focus is to ensure that the children are safe, informed about what is happening, and receive appropriate breaks, refreshments and support.
