On Friday 23rd October our Year 11 students stepped out of their comfort zones and into the interview room as part of our annual Mock Interview Day.
Supported by local business representatives who kindly volunteered their time, students experienced realistic interviews designed to help prepare them for their next steps after school. In the weeks leading up to the event, students worked hard to write and refine their CVs, develop their interview skills and think carefully about how to present themselves professionally.
We could not be prouder of the way our students approached the challenge. They showed confidence, maturity and resilience throughout the day, impressing interviewers with both their preparation and their positive attitude.
Mrs H Savva said:
“The day was a complete success. Our students worked incredibly hard to prepare for their interviews and they should be very proud of themselves. It was wonderful to see them growing in confidence and demonstrating the skills they will need for their futures. We are extremely proud of everything they achieved today.”
A special thank you goes to Careers Wales for their support in helping to organise the mock interviews, and to all of the business professionals who gave up their time to provide our students with such a valuable experience.
Well done, Year 11. You were a real credit to yourselves, your families and our school. We look forward to seeing the next steps in your journey.
