Wales Stars Inspire the Next Generation at Ysgol Rhiwabon
Ysgol Rhiwabon was delighted to welcome Rhyl Rounders Club players Maz, Hannah and Alex for an inspiring rounders workshop attended by 50 enthusiastic girls. All three players have proudly represented Wales and brought a wealth of experience, knowledge and passion to the session.
Throughout the workshop, students had the opportunity to develop their batting and fielding skills, improve their tactical understanding of the game and receive expert advice from some of the Welsh players. The girls embraced every challenge with energy, determination and enthusiasm, making the most of this fantastic opportunity.
The progress made during the session was outstanding, with students demonstrating significant improvements in both their skills and confidence. The workshop not only enhanced their rounders ability but also gave them a real insight into what it takes to compete at the highest level.
Mrs. Aimme Jones, Curriculum Leader for Sports and PSE said,
