The Chair of Ruabon Community Council, Mr. Jim Roberts and WCBC Elected Member for the North Ward in Ruabon, Mrs. Dana Davies, delivered to school the generous donation from Tesco Cefn Mawr.
Tesco Cefn Mawr, through their community champion David Roden, has set up an initiative to help families by providing free school uniform.
Working in-conjunction with Ruabon Community Council, through Councilor Jim Roberts and Councilor Dana Davies , Tesco recently issued boxes of free uniform to Ysgol Rhiwabon.
Mrs. Ferron-Evans, Headteacher, seen here receiving the donation said,
”The uniform will become part of the school’s ongoing ‘Free to You Tuesday’ events and I thank David Roden along with Jim and Dana for their help in offering free uniform to our local families. It is very much appreciated”.
