The CRNCA Activity Centre is calling on volunteers to come together this Thursday, 12th December, and next Thursday, 19th December, to help prepare for a new season of food production. Thanks to Wrexham Council and Jacinta Challinor, this exciting event has become a reality, offering a chance to clear planter beds and support community food-growing efforts. All the food produced will be shared with the local community.
Located at Bro Gwilym Lane, LL14 3PA, the CRNCA Activity Centre is looking for enthusiastic individuals to lend a hand. Volunteers will meet at 10 AM at the CRNCA car park, and attendees are encouraged to wear warm clothes and sturdy footwear.
Andrew Ruscoe, the Community Development Officer, expressed his enthusiasm for the event:
“This is a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together and make a tangible difference. The food produced here will go directly to those who need it, and it’s a great way for everyone to get involved in creating something special for the future.”
Kristyna Morrison, Chairlady of the CRNCA, added:
“We are incredibly grateful to Wrexham Council and Jacinta Challinor for making this event possible. It’s a wonderful opportunity to come together and make a positive impact on our local community. We hope to see lots of volunteers on both days.”
