School Eisteddfod 2026 – Madoc House Crowned Champions
This year’s School Eisteddfod was a fantastic celebration of talent, creativity and house spirit, with students from
across Years 7 and 8 taking part in a wide range of competitions and performances.
Throughout the event, pupils showcased their skills in music, drama, art, recitation, creative writing and many
other categories, demonstrating the enthusiasm and dedication that make the Eisteddfod such a special part of
school life. The standard of entries was exceptionally high, making the judges’ decisions particularly challenging.
A huge thank you goes to all participants, staff, judges and organisers who helped make the event such a success.
After a closely contested competition between the houses, Madoc House emerged victorious, earning the
highest number of points across the various events and proudly claiming the 2026 Eisteddfod title.
