Would you like to have your say about what you believe to be the role of schools and the home in child development and behaviour?
Alma Economics has been commissioned by the Welsh Government to undertake research to explore parents’ expectations of schools and ‘home’ roles in child development and behaviour in Wales. The aim of this research is to explore what parents believe schools, parents/carers and other services should be responsible for, and how policy and practice can better support parents to promote children’s development and access the right help.
As part of this research, Alma Economics is carrying out 60-90 minutes online focus groups via Microsoft Teams in June with parents and carers of school-aged learners in Wales. The purpose of these focus groups is to enable parents and carers to share their views about what they believe to be the roles and responsibilities that should be fulfilled by schools and what should be fulfilled by them as parents and carers or by other services.
