As part of their GCSE History Studies, 30 Year 11 students, along with Mrs. Wright-Davies, Mr. Edwards and Mr. Forman visited Berlin for 4 days.
They visited many historical sites including; the German Bundestag, Berlin Olympic Stadium, Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp and Wannsee House.
The visit gave students a deeper understanding of their area of study ‘Germany in transition 1919-1939’ for this summer’s upcoming examination.
As well as the historical aspects of the trip the group used public transport to navigate their way around the city and could also sample local food.
Students even travelled to the top of the Fernsehturm (Berlin TV Tower) at over 1,200ft. It was a very enjoyable and informative trip for all involved.
