On Saturday, 16th November, Wrexham will be holding its first Repair Cafe at the Enterprise Hub in Queens Square in Wrexham.
The aim of the cafe is to reduce the amount of things that go into landfill by repairing them, to encourage sustainability, and to help bring the community together.
On the day there will be volunteer ‘fixperts’ who aim to repair items like bicycles, toys, clothes, computers and electrical items. There will also be PAT testing available.
The event will hopefully be held every two months.
The fixing is free, but donations will be appreciated and there will be tea, coffee biscuits and cake.
Also, if anyone can offer a skill and wants to become a ‘fixpert’ they would be more than welcome.
