The National Spelling Bee 2019

The National Spelling Bee took place in Bangor University on Friday 28th June.

Lacey Evans and Chloe Jackson, both in Year 7 took part in the French competition. Both girls did well in the finals, with Chloe coming second place and winning a silver medal.

The competition is open to Year 7 in all secondary schools in Wales, including fee paying schools, e.g Howells and Cathedral School.

And thankyou to Chloe’s mum and step-dad, who came to support her in Bangor. It was a fantastic day and they had a lot of fun.
