Team Around the Child Multi-Agency Day

On Friday 20th June, support agencies from across the borough met at Ysgol Rhiwabon to hear about the progress of the 'Team Around The Child' trial which has been based at the school.


Jane Hutt ( Minister for Children, Education, Life Long Learning and Skills) attended the event along with other dignitaries.







The Minister was met by school council members and discussed Issues with pupils from the school. She was very impressed with the school and those young people with whom she spoke.

Team Around The Child ( TAC) aims to support young people at an early stage by ensuring that the child meets with those people who can help with any problems and all those involved work together to prevent escalation of problems.



The day was organised by Tricia Jones the coordinator of TAC in Wrexham and was a great success
