September of 2002 saw the school on one site for the first time in its history.This was achieved through a £2 million building programme which included:-
  • A Sports Complex with a four-court sports hall, seminar room and aerobics studio as well as a floodlit multi-use games area.The sports hall is equipped for most sports, but is a Centre of Excellence for North East Wales Cricket. The Complex is used during and immediately after school hours by our pupils.In the evenings the facilities are available for hire through the Leisure Services Department of Wrexham County Borough Council.
  • A state of the art Music Suite incorporating teaching and practice rooms.
  • A specially designed Drama Studio.
  • An extensive Learning Resource Centre with an attached sixth form study area.
  • A totally refurbished dining area and kitchen facilities incorporating electronic swipe cards for payment.
  • Additional offices and medical room.
