More Able and Talented Pupils

KS3 History MAT day- Monday 7th February 2011

Fifteen More Able and Talented (MAT) History pupils in KS3 took part in an afternoon of activities centred around 'Brymbo Man'- a Bronze-age man who was discovered in the local area.

Karen Teasdale from Wrexham museum gave the students a talk about how Brymbo man was found and what we know about Bronze-age Wales.

She also brought in some artefacts for the pupils to handle.

The pupils were then involved in producing some independent research which will be displayed in the History department.

You can see some photos taken on the day here.
