Hi I am an EX Pupil,left 1968, went to work at Manweb (on the
Wrexham road) I now live in B.C. Canada, and wonder if there are any other ex
pupil's! We were the first group of COMPREHENSIVE students to attend
what once was RUABON GRAMMER! we came from Acrefair and Rhos (grango)
schools!
Any one out there who may just remember me??
Just come across the site , probably wouldn't recognise the school
now as I left in 1971 . Back then you did 2 years in Ysgol Madoc or
Grango before going to Ysgol Rhiwabon . The Head then was Eifion Ellis ,
other teachers I can remember were Tony Edwards ( Shastri-Maths & PE )
Mr. Pritchard ( PE ) John Sam ( Woodwork ) Cel Matthews ( Geography )
Miss Nish ( French ) . Some of the guys from our year I can remember were
Abb, Mossy, Ergo, Kelly, Couzy, Taff wonder what they're doing now ! I
now live in the Lake District . The school was a good place back then
and judging by what I can see on the web site is an even better place
now . I hope the school goes from strength to strength, all the best for
the future .
