MARK RAWLINSON

Hi my name is Mark Rawlinson, i used to go to ysgol rhiwabon 1984-90.My nick name used to be ROLIE.

Wow, my little sis told me about this website, like everyone says, nothing like this in my day!(1988-95). Its great to have a chance to thank the teachers that you don't really appreciate at 18, but do later on. Mr Leather chemistry, Dafydd Owen, the lovely Tinkerbell and Mr Fitz if he's reading this somewhere. I have a PhD in colloid chemistry,and work as a development chemist, so thanks to you all and hi to any old friends reading this.

Melanie Fennah

This is a wonderful site! Congratulations. There was nothing like this when I was at Rhiwabon (85-92). It's good to see that some of the excellent teachers that taught me are still there and a real shame that some aren't (especially Mr. Fitzsimmons - I wouldn't have got where I am today without him).I have a BSc, MSc and PhD in Chemistry and have been working as a Research Associate at Imperial College, London for the last 4 years. Good luck to everyone taking exams.

wayne jones

hi there,this is wayne jones a former pupil at ysgol rhiwabon from 1981-84.i had a suprising shock when i saw this superb site.it's great to see some of my old teachers are still there...wow!!I left n.wales when i was 14 in 1984 and lost contact with my old friends from acrefair,mark and paul hampton,i am now living in swansea s.wales and would love to hear from them or anyone who remembers or even went to rhiwabon at the same time as me...cheers. snapperjack25@hotmail.com
