Hello Everyone,This is Gareth Valentine, a former pupil of Ruabon School in the 70's. Great to see a rather impressive website here. Most we had when I was a pupil there was a rather lacklustre magazine called Offa's Dyke. Is it still going?

Hello, just dropping a line to say a few words about a group of students who attend your school. I recently went to see a band called "the drunken monkies" at flexys, i was informed theses children went to ysgol rhiwabon. I must say im very very impressed with these young men. I must say specialy to arwel carter... he tried.....Blesss!!

Met Mr Hotchkiss during the Easter holidays and he told us about the school website. The school facilities look really impressive - there have been a lot of changes since we left 20 years ago!Still recognise a few of the teachers' names, especially Mrs Griffiths, Miss Edwards, Mr Owens and Mr Phillips

Again.... STILL no Sir David Jones piccy. The Ledge.Anyway. Grand Slams are awesome.

Yo Ruabon dudez! I think that there should be some pictures of the schools best guitarists on the website (i.e Steffan Burns & Ollie Meredith! Hehe). We'd just like to thank Dave Alexandra for making us the guitarists which we have become, Thanks Dave! Mrs Roberts for giving us every vote of confidence and for letting us practice at dinner times! To James the drum teacher for playing the drums for Stefs ensomble piece, it sounded great! The ensomble couldn't have gone better! And to anyone who appreciates our guitar playing! And good luck to all the young players at the school, keep it up, it's worth it! Anyway laterz!

Crumbs, I was a pupil here 1982-1987. Had some good times. Especially in class with Mr Drake, Mr P Williams (my form teacher from 1st year to Year 5) Mr G Williams in Welsh.Its good to see the school going from strength to strength, but very disappointed that they knocked down bottom school to develop houses. It may have been a cold old school, but it was part of Ruabon Heritage.Oh, and by the way, Mr K. Jones my old chemistry teacher who didn't rate me much, I made it as a Food Microbiologist in the end!!!!!
