Ysgol Rhiwabon Eco Day |
The day involved numerous activities linked to the development of the Eco Schools agenda. After a morning of creating flies for fishing, angling, food-tasting, and production of bird boxes, the day culminated in a community environmental cleanup. The school would like to thank Ken Bathers, Chairman, Maelor Fishing Club; Barry Price, Councillor for Ruabon South; PCSO Martin Griffiths; Gareth Jones of Keep Wales Tidy; and Patrick Edwards of Groundworks for their assistance in running the day.
