Ysgol Rhiwabon Eco-Schools project
Ysgol Rhiwabon Eco Day

Mr. Edwards. of Groundworks, with two bird boxes
On the 16th July, Ysgol Rhiwabon held an "Eco Day".

The day involved numerous activities linked to the development of the Eco Schools agenda.

After a morning of creating flies for fishing, angling, food-tasting, and production of bird boxes, the day culminated in a community environmental cleanup.

The school would like to thank Ken Bathers, Chairman, Maelor Fishing Club; Barry Price, Councillor for Ruabon South; PCSO Martin Griffiths; Gareth Jones of Keep Wales Tidy; and Patrick Edwards of Groundworks for their assistance in running the day.

A gallery of photos taken on the day can be seen here.
