We at Ysgol Rhiwabon take our links with the local community very seriously, and are proud to act as a focus for various local agencies who work with young people.
Key players in the local partnership are the Wrexham Youth Work in Education Team, the Communities first, Urban Villages, Programme, and Business in the Community.
Recently, the school’s efforts were rewarded by an award from the Welsh Secondary Schools Association.
The school has varied links to its core catchment areas through participation in local Community Police and Resident’s meetings in Ruabon, to an after-school facility at the CRNCA building in Cefn Mawr.
All main local areas are co-ordinated by senior staff who strive to develop the school as an extension of the communities it serves.
