Operation Christmas Child |
 On the 1st December 12 pupils from 8SN went to the warehouse in Wrexham to help the Samaritan's Purse organisation with Operation Christmas Child. The pupils had to check the boxes to take out any sharp items, army related things, chocolates, liquids and money.  We went through the boxes taking out these items and then filling the spaces in the boxes with extra treats such as teddies, balls, hats and gloves. We thought that the morning was quite fun and it felt good to be helping people who don't have as much as us. They will be really happy to receive a shoe box at Christmas.  Last year, over 1.24 million boxes were sent to different countries like Romania , Zimbabwe and Ukraine . So far, 32,000 boxes have been processed in the Wrexham warehouse alone.
