i have only just left ysgol rhiwabon. i used to say i cant wait to leave and wag alot of school i have only been gone a month or two and i would give anything to come back and start again!! you dont realises the changed that happen the second you leave. you say you hate teachers but once you leave you go back in to see them just because you miss them! miss griffiths ( catering ) mr nutall donner aron and nick and also mr williams ( maths ) were all there for me in times of need most times they would be my support in stead of close friends i will always remeber ysgol rhiwabon as a happy time of my life and the teachers will stay with me forever thank you ysgol rhiwabon!

I am an ex pupil and attended from 1975 to 1982.
What really happy memories I have of school. I was Head Girl from 81 to 82, and have very fond memories of Mrs Gwyneth Hughes (home econ) and Mrs Beryl Roberts (Music), Mr Charles (who was a great Maths teacher)Mr Frank Simon and Mr Ken Jones (Chemistry). I remember very well the school eisteddfod's and how much fun they were. Shame that the Lower school has now gone ~ had many a telling off for running in the cloisters, especially when wearing hockey boots! Hope that the current pupils have as much fun as we did (most of the time) and will look back 30 years after they have left with the fondness that I do. Job well done I think.
