Cross-Curricular Focus Days are whole school themed teaching days, which provide pupils with the opportunity to gain level 1 and level 2 qualifications in Key Skills
The latest Cross-Curricular Focus Day saw Welsh Baccalaureate pupils visiting the Tudor Griffiths Recycling Plant, in Ellesmere, as part of there studies of sustainable development.

Other Welsh Bac pupils visited Erdigg, Chirk Castle, and the Llangollen railway, to study Welsh culture and heritage.
Meanwhile, Key Stage 3 pupils remained in school and took part in a variety of activities on the theme of "The Olympics and The Paralympics".
