An example of what can happen
Andy Williams, Crew Manager, came to Ysgol Rhiwabon in July with the White Watch Team of Wrexham Fire Service to deliver a workshop to Yr 9 Transition & Yr10 Youth Access/ FOCUS groups.

The aim of the workshop was to raise awareness of the dangers of drink/drug driving and safety on the roads/consequences of not wearing a seat belt.

The group watched a series of short films followed by the team talking about their real life experiences.

Everyone was given the opportunity to wear beer goggles in which to experience the effects of alcohol and to view a dummy road collision.

WARNING: The delivery itself was hard-hitting, and is not for the faint-hearted!
