industry & enterprise day

All of year 9 spent the day in the school hall with seventeen representatives from local businesses and industry. The day was run in conjunction with Careers Wales to raise awareness of the needs of industry and opportunities for enterprise in our local area.
During the day each group of nine students were given challenges to complete with the help of their mentor from the business world .The final challenge, "the cobblers challenge", required them to produce a pair of shoes to be shown in a cat walk show, and to write a sales pitch for their product
The day was a huge success with very positive feed back from pupils and our guests from the business world.
