On Sunday, May 18, a group of Ysgol Rhiwabon staff and pupils took part in the Lake Vyrnwy Sponsored Bikeathon.
The event, started by Michelle Lineacre, was one of many nation-wide bikeathons being run to raise funds for leukaemia research. Ysgol Rhiwabon's participation was organised by Mr. Carter of the Technology department.
By taking part, the staff and students were able to raise over £450 for leukaemia research.
